Chanelle Reynolds, MOTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Prior to working with the DD Waiver program, I worked for 7 years as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant primarily at San Juan Regional Medical Center Acute Care Inpatient facility. I have further experience in various settings such as inpatient rehabilitation subacute care, skilled nursing facilities, home health, early intervention, and outpatient clinics including hand therapy, pain management, scar therapy, and pediatrics. In 2018 I began the pursuit of my graduate degree, completing my Master of Occupational Therapy in June 2022.
What I love most about Occupational Therapy is that it is relevant in all aspects of life and situations. We are not bound by one area of practice, and we revolve around what is meaningful to the individuals we serve.
I love that through our therapy interventions we can combine safety with fun and creativity to bring value and joy to others. I love the person-centered collaborative model that DD Waiver is geared towards, knowing that it truly looks to serve the team and the individual for their benefit.
Education: Master of Occupational Therapy, Concordia University Wisconsin June 2022; Bachelor of Science in Rehab Science, Concordia University Wisconsin, December 2020; Associates of Applied Science, Occupational Therapy Assistant, San Juan College May 2015
My husband and I participate in the activities of our three children: track, art classes, weighlifting, baseball, cheerleading, and dance to name a few. In my free time I can be found either at the baseball fields, exercising, reading a book, canning fruit, baking, sewing, crocheting, doing my nails, playing board games with my family, caring for our grape vinyard, fruit trees and garden, or caring for our various animals including chickesn, goats, bunnies, dogs and cats. I love baseball including hosting players each year for the Connie Mack World Series and rooting for the Atlanta Braves!
